Mission Progress To Date:

The Bell 430 Around-the-World flight is *ahead of schedule* and going well. Foggy weather in Kirkwall, United Kingdom, made it inadvisable to land there, so refueling was accomplished at Wick, Scotland. The crew was interviewed on NBC television prior to departure and by local television during one of their stops in Iceland. Things were going well, and the weather was favorable so the first day's flight was extended by 408 nautical miles. The crew rested for the night at Angmassilik, Greenland. So far, they have traveled 1,527 nautical miles, with 19,021 nautical miles to go
