Around-the-World '96 Speed Record Flight
In-Flight Report - August 31, 1996 - Day 15

Thanks for your words of support. It has been tough sledding the last several days. Weather, overwater, mountains, official Russian "Red Tape", and culture shock. Nothing is happening fast. None the less, we are still on the move and doing well. We are now over 75% done. Russia is beautiful, but enough beauty is enough. This is one gigantic place. We are ready for Farnborough, London, and to see our wonderful spouses. Thanks. Glad you are there. Regards, Ron Bower and John Williams, Crew of the N430Q
