Mission Progress To Date:

The Bell 430 Around-the-World flight continues to go quite smoothly. Overall, the Bell 430 is performing well, and Ron Bower and John Williams are meeting groups of enthusiastic supporters at each stop along the way.
After getting a little bit ahead of schedule in the first three days, Ron and John are now back on the original schedule (at least for now) stopping at Knoxville, Tennessee for the night. They plan to leave first thing in the morning for Huntington, West Virginia. So far, they have traveled 5,801 nautical miles, with 14,747 nautical miles to go.

In-Flight Report - August 20, 1996 - Day 4, Number 1
We appreciate the ongoing great help from Bell product support and marketing. Good work, team! I am proud to be with two great flying machines - the Bell 430 and John Williams. I will advise on eta's and r.o.n. plan later. I will try to give more inflight reports in between flight duties. We are trying our best. All is well. Glad you are there. Regards, Ron Bower and John Williams, Crew of the N430Q
